Pictures from our highly interesting truckride to the port of Xiamen...

Securing our clients goods are one of our most important tasks and we take it seriously. Even if it means we have to ride in similar cages as the meat we eat...


Thumbs up for security! (not so much for comfort;)...but hey, the truck ride only took 4 hours from our office to the docks...)





And so finally, all the goods from this year's (the year of the rat) productions are on ships and airplanes...Which gives me possibility to hop on a 12h nightbus to Hong Kong and new adventures! ;)

Just a few days before Chinese New Year and everything is extremly busy and we have many productions/new samples needed to be shipped out in time. Moto-ches are definately the fastest way to travel between factories and between shipping offices.

Therefore I decided to give the lost souls of the West a little lecture in Chinese geography.

This is China! I know I cut out Beijing, but China is too big for a screenshot;) So instead please note Hong Kong and Taiwan to the Southeast. Above Taiwan is Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province.



Detailed picture of Fujian Province. On the top you can again see Fuzhou. Moving south, you see the city area of Quanzhou, in which the smaller city of Shishi is located. Shishi is famous for 2 things; childrens clothing and QC office of And Trade ltd;) Below Quanzhou you can see Xiamen, China's cleanest city and soon home to me and Jo and possibly some more well-known laowais...

With the Chinese New year just a week away and factories already closing, we have tons of clothing going out - tees, caps, jeans, jackets, dresses, shirts etc etc..

Longest, cleanest and most astonishing beach in Mainland China! (even kicks some Hainan ass...)




The boardwalk stretches for miles and miles. With the fresh sea breeze from the ocean makes this the perfect place for a morning/evening run! And even the Chinese jog!?!!





The chuar selection is just as good as (or better than) Shenzhen. They even have the garlic zhezi! And it tastes even better at a beach restaurant. A warm and shufu day in January!

We are moving here in March. Anyone that would like to visit?! ;)

Yesterday the cybertalk of the year was released and it was my favorite fruit company that launched a new super hyped product. Now, everyone knows that I am completly in lovewith their stuff. Not buying into the hype, but its just great usability. And come on, their marketing is pretty damn nice!

Everything is just awesome but WTF... an iPhone on steroids? Without possibility for mulititasking? Without USB (and SD card)? With a big fat black frame around it? What was so new and magical about this? The only surprise is that it was way below most apple fanatics expectations...

Screw it...
Today I found a much better and cooler pad, also with touch screen! At one of the factories a kid was playing with this awesome iPad...
